REFERENCE

Purpose:

To move text within certain system components in the current drawing.

Example of such system components are:

• Notes,

• Position numbers,

• Radius measurements, both straight and knuckled,

• Diameter measurements, both straight and knuckled,

• 3D coordinate measurements, and

• 3D weight and Center of Gravity measurements.

Instructions:

1. In the Modify menu, click Move, then Reference.

2. First, the system component is indicated by the user.

3. Next, the text within the system component is dragged into desired new position in the drawing. Once positioned, the associated reference lines will be adjusted to match the new position of the text.

Result:

References within certain system components are moved in the current drawing.
