Continuous Flooding - General Page

On this page you can give a name for the calculation, and select the initial loading condition from the drop-down list.

The Time interval is the time between the calculation of flow into and out of compartments, and the attitude of the vessel. With a small time interval, the simulation will be more accurate, but it will take longer to compute.

The Max. Duration is the maximum length of time to be simulated. It may be specified in hours:minutes:seconds or just seconds.

Note:
The simulation calculations may be stopped before reaching the maximum specified duration, by clicking the red Abort Calculation button. Calculations up to that point will be saved.

The State of Openings may be selected from the drop-down list. These are set up on the Openings dialog.
