Compartments may be defined by their bounding surfaces or by a series of compartment identifiers.

For definition by bounding surfaces:

Aft transverse

Forward transverse

Lower deck

Upper deck

Starboard longitudinal

Port longitudinal

If the compartment is unbounded in any direction, the boundary is defined as *.

Note:
There must be at least one boundary.

Note:
There must be at least one space character at the beginning of this record.

Note:
If the compartment is to be subtracted, the identifier must be preceded be a minus(hyphen) character.

Note:
If the compartment is to be subtracted and the identifier contains embedded space characters, the minus sign must be included within the quote characters. that means,    -Compartment one

This record is repeated for each compartment in the combination.
