MDS Add/Remove Toolbar

By default, the MDS Add/Remove Toolbar is located under the main menu bar when the MDS application is entered.

Each icon and its assigned action or purpose is listed in the following table:

Add Supports
The Add Supports functionality allows the user to quickly add MDS support information to the 3D view without first locating all of the different parts that make up a support in the Design Explorer.
The tools provided are hierarchy based so, in general, the higher up the design hierarchy you are positioned when using Add Supports, the more supports are added to the 3D view.
For example, if you are positioned at pipe level and wish to display all of the MDS
supports for the pipe, click the Add Supports icon 
to display all of the support ATTA, STRU and HANG elements for all of the pipe branches.
The table below describes the expected behavior for the currently selected element.

Remove Supports

Add Reference Supports

For example, if you are positioned at pipe level and wish to display all of the reference
supports for the pipe, click the Add Reference Supports icon 
to display all of the reference support ATTAS associated with existing supports.
The 3D view will also display the branch that the support ATTAS belong to and any
secondary steelwork (if available).

3D view will also remove from the display the branch that the support ATTAS belong
