Curve Precision

This is an integer value that specifies the number of parametric increments per knot span that are used to represent the curve on the screen, and applies to all of the curves. It is set by clicking the Curve Precision Tool button, , (or selecting DISPLAY \ CURVE PRECISION) and entering a value in the dialog box:

Increasing precision produces smoother-looking curves, but at the expense of speed. Use of very high values may cause memory problems. Usually values between 16 and 128 produce acceptable results. Try using lower values whilst performing extensive editing, setting temporarily higher values for more critical inspection.
