Used to set various specialized modes for use in the graphics view.

Settings are:
Shaded
Sets the view to render the surfaces using the view’s current render settings.
Rotation
Enables constant view rotation when mouse button is released earlier than 0.3 of a second after last movement.
Cropped
Allows up to 6 (Aft, Fwd, Stbd, Port, Lower and Upper) orthogonal planes to be used to crop the objects in the view.
The following are only applicable in orthogonal views (bow, stern, port, starboard, keel, deck or workplane).
2D Grid
Displays a grid as a pattern of dots. The spacings of which are defined by the U and V input fields of the Grid panel.
Slice
Sets the view’s mode so that the view displays the appropriate planar slice through the design at the specified position (X, Y and Z) in the Slice Position panel. (Note this facility is not available if a graphics view is set to workplane.)
Drag with Pointer
Enables interactive movement of elements by dragging them in the plane parallel to "Screen".
Through the Control Settings panel the User can adjust the sensitivity of rotation and zooming in a view. Additionally, a number of steps (Transition Steps) can be set to provide a smooth rotating transition from the current orientation to a selected preset such as bow view (pop-up menu item: Bow).
