Set Up a New Design

Create a new design

1. Select FILE \ NEW from the menu bar, or select the icon.

   The New Design dialog opens.

   The name and an optional description should be entered.

2. Select New to create a new, (empty) design within the current project.

   • If the vessel does not require a hullform provided by another part of AVEVA Marine, for example, a semi-submersible, then the user can proceed to construct the vessel from primitives.

   • If it is required to use offset data or a hullform design from Lines , then select FILE \ USE \ OFFSET DATA....
