Creating a Simple Hatch

A simple hatch covering can be generated via the following syntax command:

HATCH "hatch1" CREATE 100 16.5 12.2 30 0.25

This will create a hatch named "hatch1" at a position (100,0,16.5) of length 12.2, width 30 units and thickness 0.25.

Alternatively you may use the Hatches dialog. Enter the appropriate information…

and click the Apply button.

Note:
This hatch is not linked to any bay directly, therefore if bay dimensions change, this hatch covering remains fixed.
