Production Features for Outfit Steel

The production support for Outfitting Steel can be handled to become a transfer of information into the Hull Production software.

The Outfitting Steel models are transferred on framework (FRMW or SBFR) level into the hull system. This transfer is done when needed for example, when the user is asking for the manufacturing plates or profiles, when calculating welds, The transfer is made only on frameworks that have been marked "ready for production". This is further explained below.

The system uses internally the hull panel as an intermediate model object when performing the activities within the hull system. These panels are only temporary objects and will not be stored permanently in the database (unless specifically asked for as further explained below) and will not be used for collision.
