Compartment Users Guide

Welcome to AVEVA Initial Design Geometry Compartment. Compartment is part of the AVEVA Marine integrated hull geometry modelling software, and its main purpose is the internal surface modelling of features such as bulkheads, decks and compartments.

Since Compartment is an extension to the Initial Design Surface module, the reader is advised to become familiar with the Surface manual before proceeding.

Rather than adopt the familiar approach of a menu based explanation of instructions, the manual describes tasks, reflecting the way in which the program will most often be used.

It is intended that the manual, along with the appropriate training course, will allow you to become sufficiently familiar with Compartment to allow you to explore the software and determine an individual style of working with Compartment.
