Maximum number of REGIs in a DEPT

  • Last UpdatedJan 30, 2023

There is a Drafting default keyword controlling the maximum number of REGIs below a DEPT element, called MAX_REGIS_IN_DEPT. This value is used when new drawings are created.

If customer defined rules (that means, PADDXP attribute on DEPT elements) exist and a matching DEPT is found where the number of child REGI elements is lower than MAX_REGIS_IN_DEPT, the new drawing will be stored in this DEPT/REGI. Otherwise, the drawing will be created in the DEPT/REGI given in the d065 file (for example, SB_PDB_PADD) as mentioned earlier in this section.
