The Delete menu options allow you to delete penetrations in the following ways:
Delete Penetration
Allows you to delete any single penetration element (ATTA, FITT, SBFI) and its referenced item. Navigate to the appropriate element before selecting the option.
Delete Multi Penetration
Allows you to delete a multiple penetration element (CMPF, CMFI) and its subordinate SBFIs and their referenced items. Navigate to the appropriate element before selecting the option.
Tidy Multi Penetrations
Allows you to delete CMPFs or CMFIs which no longer own any SBFIs as a result of, say, a merge operation. When you select this option, those CMPF/CMFIs below the current element which have no members and no geometry will be highlighted. You can then delete the highlighted items if they are no longer needed.
Note:
You can use any of the standard Delete options from the main application menu to remove individual penetration elements,
but the options on the Penetration subapplication menu have the advantage of deleting
referenced holes/items automatically.
