Purpose

This command will create a solid body by applying a thickness to a sheet surface.

Syntax

THICKEN < $W > $N

Description

The sheet surface to be thickened by the specified element is either given, $W, or picked interactively.

Command Qualifiers

$W

The name of the body to be thickened.

$N

Specifies the thickness to be applied.

Note: The thickness is applied according to the surface normal. If the thickness value is negative, the thickness will be applied in the opposite sense to the normal.
