Configuration File Location

The rules are stored in a project configuration file. A default configuration file is installed with Integrator in the AVEVA PDMS or AVEVA Marine executables folder and Integrator will use this file if it cannot find one specific to the project. In order to customize it for use on a project, it must be copied to the Project Defaults Model Management folder. For example on the SAM project it would be:

%SAMDFLTS%\ModelManagement\ProjectConfiguration.xml

Note: End users always access this default configuration file so you need to save to this file to make any changes available to the project. Administrators can work with any filename, since any project configuration file opened in the Configuration Explorer becomes their current file. Thus you can test using a different file and save to the default filename when ready to deploy the changes.

Note: The administrator’s current file is remembered across sessions.
