MDS Hanger Data Form

Important: The MDS hanger template configurations displayed in the MDS Hanger Data form (see Loading the Form) MUST represent the same hanger components included in the actual hanger templates defined in the SITE called /MDS/HANGERS. This holds the modelled hanger templates for each hanger component manufacturer/supplier in their respective databases (see Hangers Design Templates for further information).

The MDS Hanger Data form is used to define the configuration of the MDS hanger templates. Each hanger’s configuration can have a replacement name more meaningful to the MDS designer, and a description to suit a particular design project.

These MDS Hanger templates only apply to the MDS application when the Project Hanger Interface (MDSHANGIF) default value is set to MDS (see Project Hanger Interfaces (MDSHANGIF)). Three sets of MDS hanger templates are supplied with the application, one for each of the hanger components manufacturer/supplier, that means, PSL, GRINNELL (now ANVIL) and PIHASA.

Changes made are only applied to the database when the Apply button is clicked. The Dismiss button removes the form. If changes have been made, but not applied, a window is displayed asking if the changes are to be applied before exiting.
