Extract Curve
Extract a patch boundary or boundary curve from end to end, between end and knuckle or between knuckles. A knuckle is when tangents at a patch corner point deviates more than 1 degree (G1 continuity). To activate the function, right-click on the surface near the patch boundary curve to extract and select the command from the right-click menu.
Extract Curves from Primitive
This is the collection of tools that allows extraction of curves. Extracted curves can be used in the modules AVEVA Marine Geometry, Lines and PACE. All functions in this collection are activated by a right-click somewhere on the surface and selecting the function from the menu.
All Curves
Extracts all patch boundary curves from a surface.
Boundary Curves
Extracts all boundary curves from a complete surface. For use in Lines boundary curves it needs to be renamed to reflect the type, Lines depends on the name for type identification.
Knuckle Curves
Curves extracted from patch boundaries where there are no G1 continuity over the patch boundary. Angles larger than 1 degree is considered as a knuckle.
In X,Y or Z-planes
Extract patch boundary curves that are defined parallel to the given principal plane. Names assigned by Surface Manager for these curves are picked up by the export function to add them to the blines file with the correct type and position.
