More on the AUTO Commands

Previous sections have described the use of the two AUTO commands to add Design elements to Views and to define their THPO and VSCA or SIZE. There are two other uses of AUTOSCALE and AUTOSIZE:

AUTOSCALE LIMITS OF /idlist_name

The VIEW's VSCA and THPO attributes are calculated using only the LIMI attribute of the specified Id List, ignoring any Design items. If the Id List name is omitted the Id List referenced by the VIEW is assumed. Using AUTOSIZE here will calculate the VIEW's SIZE and THPO attributes.

AUTOSIZE FROM position TO position

The VIEW's SIZE and THPO attributes are calculated from the box defined by the two 3D coordinates given. The position may be specified using the cursor (3D point or p-point), explicit p-point reference, origin of a named element, or an explicit 3D coordinate. Using AUTOSCALE here will calculate the VIEW's VSCA and THPO attributes.
