Purpose

Performs a boolean subtraction on selected surfaces.

Syntax

SUBTRACT < $W $W > < /NONREG >

Description

Performs a boolean subtraction operation on two surfaces selected either via the cursor or by name. The resulting object is stored under the name of the first specified surface.

Command Qualifiers

$W $W

Optional qualifier specifying the names of the surfaces to subtract.

/NONREG

If this option is used, interior faces that would normally be deleted, will remain in the new object and may also be subdivided.
