Used to arrange drawings and output them as general plot files. A drawing consists of a series of viewports (listed in the Viewports panel) which represent different views on the design data.
Create a Plot File

Open the Viewports panel.

To add a new viewport, enter a unique identifier in the Name field and click Add.
To remove an existing viewport, select it from the list and click Delete.
For each viewport, it’s position in the drawing and its contents are defined using the Position and Display pages respectively.

Open the Media page to set up the global parameters of the plot.
The instructions used to generate the plot can be stored as a macro. Click Save… to store the current definition as a macro or Load… to retrieve an existing one.

Click the Preview button to open a Plot Preview graphics view to show the plot arrangement.
The preview window can be left open to view changes as they are made, simply by clicking the Preview again. The Plot Preview graphics view has standard mouse/keyboard controls for panning and zooming as well as a pop-up menu with the following options: ZOOM IN, ZOOM OUT, RESET and REDRAW.

Click Apply to generate the general plot file.
A Save As dialog appears to specify the name and location of the file to be created.
