Highlight Changes between Selected Sessions

To select sessions (or stamps) to highlight differences between

  1. Select the Choose Sessions option. The Select Diagram and Sessions to Compare window is then displayed:

    The Diagram Element field displays the name of the selected diagram or the diagram on which the selected element is located.

    If an element is selected which is present on more than one diagram, the Choose Diagram window is displayed:

  2. Select the required diagram and click OK to continue.

  3. Select a Different Diagram

  4. To select a different diagram, click the adjacent ... button. The Select Diagram Element window is then displayed:

  5. Select the SCGROU element which contains the diagram from the left-hand pane. The right-hand pane then lists the diagrams contained by the selected element.

  6. Select the required diagram from the list and click OK. The name of the selected diagram is then displayed in the Diagram Element field of the Select Diagram and Sessions to Compare window.

Select Sessions

  1. To select the target session or stamp, click the ... button adjacent to the Target Session field on the Select Diagram and Sessions to Compare window. The Select Session window is then displayed:

  2. The Sessions tab displays the list of available sessions. The Stamps tab displays the list of available stamps. Select the required session or stamp and click OK.

  3. The Select Diagram and Sessions to Compare window then displays the selected session in the Target Session field:

  4. Repeat the above process to select the base session or stamp.

    The target session must be more recent than the base session. If not, an error message is displayed when the OK button is pressed.

  5. When the required diagram and sessions/stamps are selected, click OK. The Diagram Change Highlighting window is then displayed (refer to View Changes).

    If the diagram is only present in a single session, an error message is displayed.
