Report Editing

The facility now exists within Hydrostatics/Hydrodynamics to modify any of the reports that have been generated. Basically, the report is created as normal but, if you chooses to edit the report, then the elements within the report are parsed, allowing you to reorder and/or remove elements.

In a similar way, each table is parsed to find the number of rows and columns. These rows and/or columns can then be removed and/or reordered.

Finally, graphs and other diagrams can be modified by changing their size, removing grid settings,

Once a report has been modified, these options can be used as defaults for other subsequent reports of the same type in this and other projects by checking the Set as Defaults checkbox.

Alternatively, if a modified style has been set as default for a report type, but this is no longer required, and the Hydrostatics/Hydrodynamics default style is preferred, then this can be accomplished by checking the Remove Defaults checkbox.

Once the report has been modified using this dialog, clicking the OK button will display the modified report.
