Default Creation Zone

By default, when the user enters the MDS application, the Default Creation Zone form displays, listing all valid zones found in the current MDB. The administrator controls the selection of which zones are displayed. for further information on how these zones are selected, refer to the MDS Admin Data form section in the MDS Administrator Guide.

• Select the zones in which to create support structures and hangers and click OK.

  

  The user can create multiple Support Zones. Refer to Create Support Zones for further information.

  When the application is installed, the Default Creation Zone for hangers is unset, the user can create multiple Hanger Zones. Refer to Create Hanger Zones for further information.

  

  When the Support Zones and Hanger Zones have been created, the user can define the default zones to be used by the MDS application. Refer to the MDS Administrator Guide for further information.
