This property page is used to set up general information, applicable to all of the seakeeping calculations, such as axes conventions and frequency and heading ranges.

Axes |
The axes convention enables the station numbering to be re-defined, by assigning new station numbers to the AP and FP. Three alternatives are available:

Head Waves |
The heading convention sets the convention for the wave direction. The default is for a head wave to be defined as 180 degrees. |
Calculations
By default, the short term calculations are made over seven wave headings, starting at zero degrees and incrementing at 30 degree intervals. The regular wave responses (RAO's) are calculated at 26 frequencies from 0.3 rad/sec to 1.3 rad/sec.
Both the frequency range and the heading range may be changed subject to a maximum of 51 frequencies and 19 headings.
