Purpose

Increase the density of facets used for rendering.

Syntax

ENHANCE < /NORMAL $N > < /SURFACE $N >

Description

Without any qualifiers, the Enhance command is used after either zooming in or zooming out after rendering, to improve the faceting for rendering before the user re-renders the model.

The normal and surface qualifiers are used in conjunction with either gaussian or isophote shading, to improve the facet definition by controlling the deviation between adjacent facet normals and the facet to surface tolerance respectively.

Command Qualifiers

/NORMAL $N

Optional qualifier that specifies the maximum permitted deviation in degrees between the normals of adjacent facets.

/SURFACE $N

Optional qualifier that specifies the maximum deviation between the centre of a facet and the actual surface.
