Create Standard Model Library Item

From the main menu, select Create > Standard Model Library Item, to display the Standard Model Library Item window.

The Create Standard Model Library Item window, has common functionality with the creation of libraries and areas with the exception of the New Instance pane of the window. for further information, refer to Standard Model Library Manager.

From the New Instance pane of the window, the user can enter a name in the Name field or select the Autoname checkbox.

The Create and Position link creates a copy of the standard model library element in the specified zone. Positioning is carried out by EDG using the origin position of the selected standard model library item with the new orientation within the new zone.
