Assemblies

Data definitions for assemblies are transferred via datal files as for outfitting and through this the details given for outfitting above are applied for assemblies too. Further to mention for assemblies is that the NAMN attribute of an assembly is generated by composing the local names in hierarchy. The local name for an assembly is given by the ASNAME attribute. Therefore a PML rename function for assemblies should target the ASNAME attribute rather than NAMN as for other type of Transfer Items. For this there is a specific option in the Item Settings file. Design part elements replaced at import and to which assemblies are referring are maintained if not switched off by an option in Item Settings File.
