Manufacturing Package Folder (MPKGFL)

  • Last UpdatedDec 05, 2025
  • 1 minute read

Each manufacturing package element must contain one or more manufacturing package folders in which the production parts will be stored. Each folder has one rule and since the folders can be nested it is possible to for example, store different types of plate parts in different folders. Examples of rules are:

  • ATTRIB TYPE EQ 'MPLATE'

  • ATTRIB TYPECD EQ 91

  • MATCHWILD ( ATTRIB QUATXT OF FIRST MPLRWI, 'A*')

  • TRUE

The production part itself is used in the evaluation against manufacturing package folder rules.

Below is a schematic drawing of the manufacturing package structure and the layout in the MANU explorer.

One of the manufacturing package folders in each manufacturing package can be defined as default folder. Items that do not match the rule of any other folder in the package will go in here.
