Doors and Windows

The Door and Window (DOOR, WINDOW) elements are used to define the design criteria and basic definition of room doors and windows.

Door and Window tasks can be accessed from the Main Detailing Tasks window.

1. Clicking Detailing on the Room Design toolbar displays the Main Detailing Tasks window.

   Refer to Room Designer Detailing for further information.

   

2. Selecting Doors and Windows displays the Select Wall window.

   

   Active Wall	Populated on selecting a wall from the List of Walls.
   List of Walls	Populated with a list of walls.
   Graphical selection	Allows the user to graphically select a wall from the 3D view and then click Graphical selection to populate the List of Walls.
   Active element walls	Populates the List of Walls with all walls below the current element.
   Select Wall to modify
   Edit Selected Wall	Displays the Select Opening window.
   Back to layout tasks	Displays the Main Layout Tasks window.
   Back to detail tasks	Displays the Main Detailing Tasks window.

3. Select the specific CTWALL from the list and then click Edit Selected Wall to display the Select Opening window.
