Fairing Dialog - Fit Tab

The Fit tab is used to automatically interpolate, prefit and accept multiple orthogonal curves.

To fit all the curves in a directory, a range of curves, or a series of curves (by entering each individual curve)

1. Select the Appropriate Radio button, All, Range or Series respectively.

2. Select from the Curve Type panel, the required curves (Section, Waterline or Buttock) and then click the Apply button to fit the curves.

The Accept check box is used to automatically store the fitted curves, otherwise they are only displayed in a graphics window. Show displays the points interpolated and Close creates a closed curve by joining the last point to the first.

Before interpolating any curves, the user needs to select the sets of orthogonal curves and or diagonals to interpolate from. This is done by selecting the appropriate check boxes in the Interpolation panel.
