Indicate the node in the assembly tree for which the Robot Control file creation shall be made. Select the function Create Robot Control on the right mouse-button menu. The Robot Control file for the selected assembly will be created.

The contents of the file is a complete geometric description of an assembly, the assembly attributes and the weld geometry and parameters for the assembly. See Weld Defaults for a complete description of the control file format.

The generation of neutral files is also possible on a "per panel" base. In this case one neutral file is generated for a selected Hull panel. The panel output does not include welding information.

The resulting files will be created in the SB_STEPPRINT directory or, if this is not available, in the SB_SHIPPRINT directory. A separate file will be created for each assembly. The file name is:

tri-<assembly_name>.spf
