Plotting Dialog

Use the Plotting dialog

  1. Activated by clicking the Plotting icon, .

  2. From the Grid panel select the type of grid required, None, Standard or Stored. Also select whether the grid is drawn as Ticks along the drawing edge rather than lines, which is the default. To output grid values along the edges select the Numbers check box.

  3. In the Border panel, select the On check box if an overall border (containing general particulars and hydrostatic summary) is required around the finished drawing. The Properties pulldown list is used to choose the sectional area curve, whose hydrostatics are to be used.

  4. In the Source panel, select Curves to plot existing curves to the plot file or select Surface to draw sections,. waterline and buttocks intersected from the surface patches.

  5. If required, in the Identification panel select how curves are to be identified, ID None, ID All or ID Range.

  6. Select any additional curves that are to be drawn, by using the check boxes in the Additional Curves panel. Note that the orthogonal curves are drawn by default.

  7. If required enter the specified pen numbers for plotting the different curve types in different colours.

  8. If the user wants to override the default scale. Then select the enter a new scale value (as a decimal value) in the Scale edit box.

  9. Select the scale and type of body or lines plan to be created, by clicking on the relevant Lines/Body plan icon in the Plot Type panel.

  10. Select a file name for the plot and click Save.
