PROFILE Statement

The PROFILE statement specifies one set of profile types and dimensions that can be used for stiffeners on brackets. Several independent such sets can be established to be used in different brackets, but it is also possible to use one set for all brackets.

Syntax:

PROFILE =

[ <set_name > ]

       

/ DIM = ( < type >, <p1>, <p2> [, <p3> [, <p4> [,<p5>[,<p6>] ] ] ] )
/ DIM = .....
.....
;

<set_name>

A name (string not longer than eight (8) characters) that uniquely identifies a certain set of profile dimensions.

Can be left out if there is only one set.

DIM

Specifies the profile type and dimensions. The profiles should be sorted in increasing cross-section area. Should be given in accordance with the standards.

The number of dimensions is unrestricted.
