Editing the Basic Bay Definition

The basic properties of a bay can be modified at any time, and the bay regenerated. We have seen how to modify the position of the bay. Similarly we may modify the container type, the maximum number of tiers, the size,

BAY "newbay" SET CONTAINER "20'_ISO_TYPE_1" will change the container type

BAY "newbay" SET MAX_TIERS 8 /REGENERATE will modify the maximum number of tiers and then regenerate the bay.

This functionality can all be obtained from the Basic page of the Bay Definition Editor, by selecting the desired bay(s), clicking on the Edit button and then modifying the required values. Having changed the values, then the Apply button must be clicked to physically change the bays.

Multiple bay definitions can be edited at once by selecting all required bays from the Bays: list. If any of the bays have a different associated TBHD, Deck or Type, then these drop-lists will show the string -different-. If any of the numerical values are different, then these fields are shown in grey.

Any of the values may be changed and then the Apply button clicked.

If a value is changed, then this will be applied to all selected bays. If a drop-list still shows the -different- string, or an edit box is still displayed in grey (that means, it has not changed), then these values will not be updated for any bays.
