Manoeuvring Data - Hydrodynamic Derivatives

The hydrodynamic derivatives of the manoeuvring equations (see Manoeuvring Module) are defined here.

By default, the values are set to be calculated by the program. However, if you select User Input, then he may input his own values obtained, for example, from model tests.

At any time, the Default button may be clicked, setting the user input values to those defined in the program.

Note:
Using the User Input option with Default values is equivalent to using Calculated Values.

Depending on which vessel type was chosen in the Manoeuvring Data - General page, various coefficients are disabled, since they are not included in the manoeuvring equations.
