Purpose of the Link

This section describes an optional link for transfer of model objects from the system to a foreign CAD system. The result of the link is an ASCII file in neutral format. This format may be read by a foreign CAD system, which have implemented software for reading such format.
The link will handle the transfer of:

planar hull
-
hull curves
The resulting ASCII file contains solid volume descriptions with some additional attribute information.
