File Check Interface

Purpose:

This form is to be used to check existing files for syntax or other correctness. It also gives the user the possibility to view and change the file in question.

Prerequisites:

The corresponding environment variable should be set to point to the input file prior to running the program.

How to do:

You could view/edit the file pointed by the environment variable by pressing the "Edit" button. The "Edit" will open Notepad and try to load the file with the name in the box. You must close the notepad in order to continue the interaction with the program. The notepad's File menu must be used in case changes to the input file are made during the notepad view/edit session.

Options:

None.

Result:

When you press the "Check" button, the interface will call the proper procedure for checking the file. In all cases the result from "Check" will be a dialog informing the user for success or possible errors.

Note:
That the interface does not check for the input file existence.
