PPI Start Menu

When activating the PPI the start menu appears as shown by the screen copy below.

The first line (1 Select) is used to invoke the selection tool (that means, step 1 (a) above) and the second line (2 Show) to display the result of the function (step 3 (c) above). The remaining dimmed entries of the menu show the different functions supported by the PPI (step 2 (b) above). These entries are dimmed at this stage because they cannot be activated until a selection of input data has been made.
