Create Subframework

Select the third icon on the Create Support toolbox to create a Subframework.

Note: You must be at a Framework to create a Subframework.

You must create a Subframework in the Hangers & Supports application before the steelwork Sections for the support are created. There must be a Subframework, positioned using the Support plane, for each direction of pipes which are supported. This is further illustrated in Create a Two-plane Support.

Note: You can add out-of-plane bracing members to a Subframework, it is the plane of the main supporting members that is defined.
