Managing Jobs using the Background Process Manager Form

Tabbed Windows
The Manager log tabbed window contains the BPM log of jobs processed.
The Job tabbed window is used to display the log file of the finished job. To select a finished job double-click on the appropriate row in the job list table or right-click on View log (see below).
Cancel, Delete and Purge
Jobs may be managed collectively by using the File pull-down menu (see below) or individually by selecting the job from the table of jobs and selecting from the right-mouse button menu.
Managing Jobs Collectively
The File pull-down menu is used for this. The options are:

Start manager
starts the processing of the jobs currently listed ‑ changes to Stop Manager.

Stop manager
stops the processing of the jobs currently listed ‑ changes to Start Manager.

Purge finished jobs
purges all jobs with status ‘Finished’ and deletes corresponding XML, MAC and LOG files.

Refresh
refreshes the job list table, that means, clears it and then repopulates it from scratch.

Delete all jobs
deletes all jobs irrespective of their status.

Exit
exits the BPM.
Managing Jobs Locally
The right-mouse button menu options on a row in the job list table are used for this.

View log
displays the log file of the selected job in the Manager log tabbed window.

Cancel job
cancels the selected job.

Restart job
restarts the selected job.

Delete job
deletes the selected job.
