Main Form

When selected, this function will try to fill in the fields in the main form of the function with data fetched from an object with the name pointed to by SB_HREF.

This form gives the user the freedom of setting the individual parameters necessary for the creation of the Hull Reference Object. Although in most cases there is a link between the values in the fields of the form, the values themselves are not logically related in respect to the information entry.

The form works as a view into the reference object. In order to view the information for an existing object (for example, other than that whose name is in SB_HREF) you must key in the name of the object in the corresponding field ("Name of the hull reference object") and press "Extract Data from DB". (This key may also be used to reset the original values if you want return to the situation at entry of the function.) When doing so the dialog will not warn the user for losing changed information and any such will be lost during the extraction process. You may choose to change the name of the object and any of the values in the fields and press "Create Object", thus creating a new object. Alternatively he may just change the values and overwrite the existing object (modifying it).
