The Colors grid provides a means of controlling the colours of certain entities that appear in the graphics views.

Colors grid column functions

Column

Description

Entity

The name of a particular visible entity or entity type (read only).

Color

A visual indication of the colour of the entity

R

Value of the red component of the entity colour (valid range 0-255)

G

Value of the green component of the entity colour (valid range 0-255)

B

Value of the blue component of the entity colour (valid range 0-255)

Colors can be set by double-clicking on the Color cell of a particular entity and choosing a color from the standard Windows color chooser dialog that appears.

Alternatively, the R, G, B color components can be typed in. These cells support copy <Ctrl+C> and paste <Ctrl+V> operations to and from other spreadsheet-style grids.

The entities for which colors can be set are shown below. The colors of entities that do not exist in the design are retrieved from and saved to the registry at the beginning and end of each session.
