The Automatic Nesting Plug-In makes it possible to connect the Nesting System to an external pattern generator. Using this function part data are transferred to the pattern generator which returns transformation data for each part for proper positioning on the raw plate. The Plug-In is part of the Nesting System and can be used in either interactive or batch mode.

AVEVA provides a plug-in for automatic nesting (with a separate license), though any external plug-in may be connected.
