Profile Points

Calc uses the profile points defined in this dialog to determine the wind profile, which is used by some of the stability criteria, when performing loading calculations and deterministic calculations.

The profile of the vessel is modelled using x and z co-ordinates to specify points around the centreline section. Each pair of points is assumed to be connected by straight lines. The X val and Z val are measured relative to the vessel's origin (units: meters or feet).
