Assumptions

The Structural Design User Guide has been written for engineers familiar with structural design practices, who may or may not have prior knowledge of PDMS.

To use this manual, the sample PDMS project, Project SAMMAR, must be correctly installed on the system with read/write access to the project databases.

It is assumed that:

• Users have a valid PDMS licence and the sample PDMS project, Project SAMMAR, has been correctly installed on the system with read/write access to the project databases.

• Users know where to find PDMS on the computer system

• Users are familiar with the Windows operating system installed on the computer

• Users are familiar with the basic Graphical User Interface (GUI) features.
