Ceiling Supports and Hangers

Ceiling Support and Hanger tasks can be accessed from the Main Detailing Tasks window. Clicking Detailing on the Room Design toolbar displays the Main Detailing Tasks window. Refer to Room Designer Detailing for further information.

Select Ceiling supports to display the Ceiling Support Tasks window.
The Ceiling Support Tasks window allows the user to select a Ceiling Grid from the grid control and subsequently display the appropriate window for creating or modifying Supports and Hangers.

Allows the user to select a Ceiling Grid from a list of existing Grids. |

Support Profile |
Displays the Create Supports window. |

Hangers |
Displays the Create Hangers window. |

Displays the Modify Supports window. |

Displays the Modify Hangers window. |

Delete |

Supports |
Deletes the highlighted elements. The user is prompted to confirm the deletion. |

Hangers |
Deletes the highlighted elements. The user is prompted to confirm the deletion. |

Return to main tasks |
Displays the Main Detailing Tasks window. |
Until a Ceiling Grid is chosen from the grid control at the top of the window, all the options will remain inactive, as neither Supports nor Hangers can be created without a Ceiling Grid element in existence.
Once a Ceiling Grid has been chosen from the grid control, the Support Profile and Hangers options will be activated under the Create section of the window.
