Data Bank Utilities

A family of tools have been developed for backup, recovery and other kinds of maintenance of indexed data banks. These tools are described below. Some of the tools can also be used for sequential data banks (for example, copying and listing of objects).

These tools are to be considered as Administrator tools only and should not be used by the normal user.

Note: It is recommended that data bank is not accessed by other applications during data bank backup/reorganization.
