Damage Scenarios Dialog

This dialog is used to set up damage scenarios for use in Deterministic and Probabilistic Stability as well as Loading Condition analysis.

Damage Scenarios are listed in separate nodes in the Calculation Tree. you can set up different Damage Scenarios nodes for different purposes. For example, one for Deterministic and one for Probabilistic.

Each individual damage scenario is listed in the left hand panel, and you can edit the name directly in the list. When a scenario is selected, the right hand panel, will list the compartments damaged together with the type of damage,

Scenarios can be added, copied and deleted by clicking the appropriate buttons.

The Edit button will bring up a dialog for editing the selected damage scenario - see below.

Create Damage Cases will display a dialog for automatically generating damage scenarios based on the zone definitions (see Tankplan) and the Probabilistic Rules. At present, this function is really only appropriate for Probabilistic stability, but the intention is to extend it to deal with deterministic requirements as well.

The main body of the dialog is made up of a grid containing 13 columns. The first 2 columns (ID and Comp Name) display the ID and compartment name of all the compartments. Note that on scrolling to the right, to access the rest of the columns, the ID column is always displayed. The third column (Type) indicates the state of each of the compartments, which can be altered by selecting one of the options available from the drop down list (see list below).
