Wall Detailing

  1. Wall detailing tasks can be accessed from the Main Detailing Tasks window.

    Refer to Room Designer Detailing for further information.

  2. Clicking Wall details displays the Wall Detail Tasks window.

    All of the Walls existing beneath the currently selected item in the Room Design Navigator are displayed in the grid at the top of the window, and will also be added to the 3D view, if they are not already displayed.

    The Wall Detail Tasks window provides links to access the functionality which allows the user to create, modify or delete Wall Panels, Profiles and Joiners.

    Select Wall

    Lists all the Walls existing beneath the currently selected item in the Room Design Navigator.

    Use Select Wall

    Loads the selected Walls in the 3D view into the grid control at the top of the window.

    Use Active Element

    Walls

    Loads all the Walls owned by the currently selected item in the Room Design Navigator into the grid control at the top of the window.

    Create

    Panel Definition

    Displays the Panel Definition window.

    Profile Definition

    Displays the Create Profile window.

    Joiner Definition

    Displays the Create Wall Joiners window.

    Modify

    Choose Detail

    Select a Panel, Profile or Joiner from the drop-down list.

    Panels

    Displays the Modify Panel window.

    Profiles

    Displays the Modify Profile window.

    Joiners

    Displays the Modify Joiner window.

    Delete

    Gives delete options of Delete Detail, All Panels, All Profiles and All Joiners. Clicking any of these tasks displays a Confirm message box. Selecting the YES option deletes the elements from the database.

    Return to main tasks

    Displays the Room Design Main Data window.

Picking a Wall from the grid control at the top of the window sets the current element in the Design Explorer to the selected Wall, and enhances the wall in red in the 3D view.

Note: Enhance does not work on Walls which already own Wall Detail elements.
