Search Results

On completion of the search the Search Tool will automatically open the Search Results table and populate the table with the search results.

Note: If the Search Results form is closed, then it can be opened at any time by selecting the Display Search Results link label on the Search form, or selecting Display > Search Results from the main menu from the Display toolbar menu.

The Search Results form contains a grid control. You can specify the columns that are displayed - each column represents an attribute or a valid Outfitting expression of an item in the system.

You can select either one or more rows in the Search Results form and perform specified actions on this data. For example, within Outfitting Design, you can drag & drop one or more items into the 3D graphical view. All menu actions can be specified within the AVEVA customizable menu builder application.

Search Results functionality is accessible through the right-click pop-up menus. Right-clicking on the column titles shows the general functionality menu and right-clicking on search results shows a menu of operations that can be performed on the selected items.
