If Free-hand is selected, the user creates the curve by interactively digitising points in a graphics view (whose orientation must be parallel to the plane in which the new curve is to lie). If Interpolation is selected, the curve is created from data points found by intersecting existing curves with the new curve’s plane. The Section, Waterlines and Buttocks checkboxes specify which types of existing orthogonal curves are used in this process.
